About Us
1974
Leefon Corporation was founded by Mr. Ng Soy Ng and eight partners to support Singapore’s rapidly growing construction industry during the early years of nation-building. The company began by focusing primarily on the retail of renovation and building materials.
1980s
To meet increasing market demand, Leefon began importing high-quality ceramic tiles directly from Italy. As the company’s reputation for reliability and quality grew, it started successfully bidding for larger domestic projects.
1990s
Leefon completed several notable residential and commercial developments, including Ngee Ann City, then Singapore’s largest commercial project.
1999
M&G Contracts was established as a specialist stone contracting firm dedicated to the supply and installation of natural stone, marking a new chapter in the company’s evolution.
2000s
All project-related work was consolidated under M&G Contracts. The company went on to successfully deliver numerous luxury residential, commercial, and government projects, solidifying its reputation in the industry.
2012
M&G was honored with the Marble Institute of America Pinnacle Award of Merit for Commercial Interior.
2013
Received the Marble Institute of America Pinnacle Award of Excellence for Residential Interior/Exterior.
2014
M&G expanded regionally with the establishment of a joint-venture entity in Myanmar, catering to both local and international clients across luxury residential and commercial segments.
Today
Currently led by second-generation leader Mr. Ayden Ng, and backed by a dedicated team of experienced industry professionals, M&G Contracts continues to uphold the legacy of its founder. We remain committed to delivering quality and timely results, reinforcing our reputation as trusted specialists in stone and tile solutions.
